ProjectRoadmap

Roadmap

A three-phase outline for dataset coverage and related documentation: first European gas and power fundamentals, then weather indicators, and later broader modeling and scenario layers.

Phase 1

European gas & power fundamentals

Now

Coverage + reliability for daily market work.

  • Power: prices, load, generation mix, outages, capacities, and cross-border flows.
  • Gas: storage, LNG send-out, pipeline flows, demand proxies, and benchmark context.
  • Advanced comparison views and correlation tools (baseline set).
  • Cross-border flow analytics and capacity factors (where relevant).
  • Additional indicators (fuel benchmarks, carbon intensity).
Focus: data quality, consistency, and stable retrieval workflows.
Phase 2

Weather indicators

Next

Weather-driven demand and renewable context.

  • Heating Degree Days (HDD) and Cooling Degree Days (CDD) by country/zone.
  • Temperature anomalies and demand-impact summaries.
  • Wind & solar indicators (wind speed, irradiance proxies) aligned to power output.
  • User-defined alerts for thresholds and anomalies.
Focus: documenting weather-linked indicators in a consistent format.
Phase 3

Pan-European modeling & scenarios

Later

Decision support: stress tests, constraints, and narratives.

  • Integrated pan-European gas + power fundamentals modeling.
  • Scenario engine: weather stress tests, outages, flow constraints, demand shocks.
  • Deeper comparison views, attribution, and correlation tooling.
  • Reproducible analysis: saved scenarios, sharable views, exportable assumptions.
Focus: consistent, interpretable models (not black boxes).
