Axion Insights aggregates power and gas fundamentals from trusted system operators and industry platforms, then applies a consistent harmonization layer so you can compare markets without fighting formats.
Primary platforms
Electricity datasets including generation, load, day-ahead prices, cross-border flows, and outages.
Gas fundamentals such as flows, demand indicators, and network-related transparency data where available.
Storage and LNG coverage via industry transparency data (AGSI+ / ALSI) where applicable.
Complementary electricity and gas data to improve coverage, fill gaps, and align local market definitions. Examples include REE, RTE, Terna, National Grid, and more.
Harmonization
Time alignment: We standardize time zones and timestamps, align series to a consistent granularity, and remove duplicates.
Units & naming: Unit normalization (e.g., MW vs MWh) and consistent naming across countries, zones, and technologies.
Quality checks: Validation for missing values, outliers, and late publications—so charts stay stable and explainable.
Coverage
Coverage spans European electricity and gas markets subject to each source’s publication schedule, regional definitions, and data availability. When national TSOs provide additional detail, we use it to improve completeness and local accuracy.
